The Hartford Community Mural is a thirty by thirty foot mural located on the historic Gage Building 199 North Main Avenue Hartford, South Dakota. This mural was created as a community-based project that involved members of the Hartford area. The design was created after several meetings and workshops facilitated by lead artist Amber Hansen and two assistant artists, Colin DeBoer and Darcy Millette. who worked with members of the community to develop a theme and imagery that best represented their community. The project was fundraised by local businesses and organizations.
